Infamous Team Reed Bullies is a Christian-based and family-oriented endeavor.

Last year my first breeding was a tight line-breeding from Champion Zena Rose x Champion Zeus LeeRoy, two offspring from one of only six XL Grand Champions, Techno. Zena and Zeus have different mothers, so Zeus is actually 2X Techno because his mother is Techno’s daughter, making the puppies I produced 3X Techno.

I knew that my blood/yard was getting tight and I needed an outcross breeding to loosen up my blood. To keep a consistent look and stick with the formula that created show quality dogs, I decided to take Zena to a dog with the same attributes and qualities that was evaluated by the founding registry. I knew I needed to find a dog with a strong phenotype, and that’s why I chose XL Grand Champion Saki Bomb.

This would give me the outcross that I need without sacrificing anything! Taking Zena to Saki Bomb was perfect. Saki has been bred to females similar to her look, but never her size, and not a daughter of a XL Grand Champion.

My goal is to take the best of the best from each of those litter, and breed them back to each other. That’s right! I plan to take my 3X XL Grand Champion male and female puppies to my XL Grand Champion Saki Bomb offspring, which will also be the grandpups of XL Grand Champion Techno — creating a 4X Techno with Saki Bomb on the top end!

With these pups I can play with the blood any way I want with an assortment of combinations, because of the outcross!
